Oh my god, i’m having sudden Calthazar feels, because can you imagine just how shattered Cas will be when he finally remembers what he did to Balthazar? And whilst i have no doubt Balthazar forgives him, it is unlikely Castiel will feel that way. It’s a thousand times worse than when he thought his brother died the first time and the guilt burns him inside out. So when Balthazar finds a way to reassure Castiel that he loves him and in no way blames him at all, Cas just breaks downs completely.
